Mom has had diagnosed PD for 35+ years. Has been tried on multiple medications to no avail, so it’s back to Carvadopa levadopa. She needed to be med free for several days due to too much levadopa(severe dyskinesia) in her system. Dementia symptoms seem to improve everyday and virtually disappeared until titration back to Carvadopa/Levadopa

Thank you. Tried she’s more concerned with treating the Parkinson’s overall rather than the dementia bc she feels it can’t be helped

Too much can cause symptoms like dementia. It is a balancing act between getting enough to reduce tremors but not so much that it causes other symptoms like dyskinesia or dementia. Talk to the doctor.
