Dawn my job is pretty much stress free and I'm the only one in the building most of the time so it just gives me something to occupy my mind and a sense of accomplishment

Russell6. I understand about having a job keeping you busy and your mind occupied! Great point. Maybe I can speak to my employer and reduce my hours, at least for a while. Thanks Russell6 !!!

I feel like you get a diagnosis like this and you should get a month off work to digest it, get to more appointments, figure out what's going on and how to deal with it. My head is spinning with everything right now. It doesn't seem fair. I need to take care of myself right now.

Sometimes it depends on what kind of job you have and which symptoms you experience. Stress can make symptoms worse. A high energy job can be a problem if fatigue is one of your main issues. If you have started medication, some of the symptoms may get better. As stated above, take things one day at a time. Do your best to take care of yourself. Exercise can be done in short intervals; you don't have to do long sessions if you don't have time for it. You can do a little before work or during lunch or after work or in the evening. Even 15 minutes is better than nothing.

I understand that Russell, that's a nice gig!! I've done many things, mostly physical ... my last job was truck driving, all kinds (which I thought was a fun thing until my body said nope) ... I've been blessed to own an investment property which is my backup!!! You got it with the sense of accomplishment ๐Ÿ‘ God knows we need that facing the humbling effects of PD!!! ๐Ÿ™
