The Parkinson's Foundation has a hospital guide on its website that can be useful for any hospital stay. https://www.parkinson.org/resources-support/hos...
Among other things, it talks about which drugs (e.g. anesthesia and antibiotics) to avoid if you have PD and has a letter from your neurologist (ours signed easily) that talks about what is needed for a PWP and requests permission for your partner to provide your normal medication on schedule if the hospital does not.

Hi Sharon no I never got Knee replacement,I got Injections in both knees helped me big time I know it's not Parkinson related but hope it helps you!!!

It's really important that any surgeon and anesthesiologist involved in your care knows about your Parkinson's and the medications you take, as timing of Parkinson's medications during and after surgery is critical.

A few things worth discussing with your medical team include:

- How your Parkinson's medications will be managed during the hospital stay
- How Parkinson's symptoms like tremor or rigidity might affect rehabilitation
- Whether your current motor symptoms could impact recovery and physical therapy
