Hi Donald, Sinemet is a name for Carbidopa/Levopoda which is the medication that is used of Parkinson Disease managing the symptoms, it comes in different doses your Neurologist would be the person that would prescribe your dosage .Donald I am on Sinemet myself and find it very good with the last 3years +Sinemet cr at night extended release tablet Hope this helps if you want to know more I would be happy to help you all the best
