I use MiraLAX or milk of magnesia. I alternate them otherwise I get so bloated. I can’t hardly eat anything. There’s no room. I just saw an advertisement for enemees on Amazon, so I’m going to try them.

For now I prefer mother nature and a large glass of prune juice does fine, if not then a few hours later another. Trying to limit any medication that could have side effects with others.

Good luck to all, may you all have a moving experience 😉

I can't take laxatives or stool softeners. They are simply too hard on my system. When I told you all what my solution is, you laughed and didn't believe me. I've had doctors scold me for my solution. When I first saw my current GI doctor, he asked me how I manage my constipation, I warned him, that he wasn't going to like it. He encouraged me to tell him. When I said that the main thing for me is ice cream twice a week, he asked, "Why would you stop if it works?" I assured him that I have not stopped. I also rotate yogurt, usually with cereal and Carnation Instant Breakfast Drink on the days I don't have the ice cream. He told me that my method is fine.
