This is why it is important to exercise and to stay as active as you can for as long as you can. If you can't physically exercise, keep your brain busy with crossword puzzles, board games, or jigsaw puzzles. If you can't play board games play a variety of games on your computer, tablet or phone. I suggest that you avoid war games or anything with monsters/evil characters. Scrabble Go is fun, and helps to keep words from slipping away from your memory. I do chair exercises to music. Also love word finds and crossword puzzles.🥰

@ThereseByrnes, I've actually never been very good with crossword puzzles unless the subject is the Bible. I listed them because they're popular. I was good at cryptograms and word searches until it became too difficult to write. Whatever engages the brain and any muscles that will cooperate works.

Chair yoga is the best. It is physical but not in a taxing way.

@MyParkinsonsTeam, I protest using the word "progressive" to describe Parkinson's Disease. The word "progress" denotes something moving in the direction of accomplishment. Parkinson's consumes productive lives until we are stuck in a fetal position. Such is not progress.
