Members shared deeply personal responses to the question of whether Parkinson's has revealed hidden strength or taken more than it has given, with many honest answers reflecting both realities at once. Several members described unexpected gifts like greater patience, closer family bonds, a sharper sense of priorities, and a newfound appreciation for simple joys like watching birds or photographing a caterpillar. A recurring theme was that while the disease has taken independence, mobility, and in some cases a loved one's mind and body, faith, family support, and staying active help many members keep moving forward.

My doctor told me that if I stretch, walk, do light exercises and take my meds.....I'll die from something other than Parkinson's. My father had PD and died at 89 from pneumonia. When we get old everything starts falling apart!!!

Happy Monday 🥳

Make it a Great Day!!!! 👍

I thought a while back thal the Parkinson's theme song should be "The 59th Street Bridge Song." I thought of better songs since, but my mind always goes to...
Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last. 🎶 🎵
Just kickin' down the cobblestones,
Lookin' for fun, and
Feelin' GROOVY!!!!!!!!!
