Google "patient lift" there are any number of devices that are kind of crane like available. Depends on just how much help is needed. I can normally get up by grabbing a piece of furniture to help balance myself and then pulling myself up.
Thank you so much Lucinda. I actually found Elk inflatable pillows which AI suggested. It looks like it may work but expensive. I'll just have to suck it up cause I need it. Wish this medical stuff was less expensive.☹️
@Michellle749, I don't know how to find it but not too long ago, I saw a mat that stores flat. You lay it down next to a person who has fallen. The person only needs to be able to get onto the very flat mattress that goes from being flat, then to inflating up, then raising the back up to a seating position, finally raising up to a chair like position to where the one that has fallen is able to raise the chair to a standing position and get on your feet. It's easy to do with a hand held device so as to accomplish it to work with ease. Even a 12 year old can help do this. I will try to find the video again and post it.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Thank you for all your information. Very Helpful. I do have a chair lift that goes to the floor and raised him. His legs are so weak now. He does have a wheelchair but doesn't want to use it. I have called paramedics several times but it costs. His denial of what's happening to him is very strong and he's trying so hard to fight it. I applaud his efforts. I definitely will call his neurologist to check about a physiotherapist. I've seen the inflatable pillow thing, it may work. I will look up the MSA support group.
