We use a one week pill container with AM and PM boxes. I fill it once a week for my husband. He has alarms set on his phone to remind him about his c/l doses, but still misses a lot of doses if I don't hand him the pills and make sure he actually takes them. I keep a pad of paper next to the pill box to write down exactly what time he was given the pills to prevent doubling up on pills.

Great question! Finding the right pill organizer when managing Parkinson's medications can make a real difference in staying on schedule. While there's no single "best" option, here are some popular choices worth exploring:
- Large-button weekly pill organizers — These have easy-to-open lids, great for those with tremors or reduced dexterity
- Sliding compartment organizers — No snapping or pressing required, just slide open
- Daily pill pouches — Pre-sorted pouches for each time of day, easy to grab and go
- Automatic pill dispensers — Beep or light up at dose time, ideal for home use
For on-the-go use, look for a compact daily organizer with AM/PM or multiple time-slot compartments. Many pharmacies also offer blister-pack dispensing services where your pharmacist pre-sorts doses for you.
A medication tracking app on your smartphone can pair nicely with any physical organizer to send reminders throughout the day.
It's worth mentioning to your doctor or pharmacist what you're looking for — they often have hands-on recommendations tailored to your specific needs and dexterity level.
