I have had Tourette's for several years. Last month I was diagnosed with Parkins. It is now a mild case. My doctors are now adjusting my meds to see if I am able to effectively treat both.

Hi I'm am on a medication that depletes dopamine at the same time my Parkinsons medication increases it. So right now I am working with the doctors to adjust the dosage on the Tourette's meds and see if that works. I will keep you informed about my progress. Thanks!

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, I looked up Parkinson's and Tourette's and found that both have a connection to dopamine dysfunction, so I would think that there is a distinct possibility they could both be addressed together. Please keep us informed as to what your doctor says. This should prove to be interesting.

While I don’t have Tourette’s I have a brain injury that stops me from having filters when I talk. Have to be careful what and when I say things
