There are quite a few reports now on how exenatide and lixisenatide used in earlier clinical trials have been helpful however so far cannot find new trials that will be recruiting soon.

Is Age A Factor For Receiving A Trial Drug For PD?

I am a 76 year old male with stage 1 PD. My medication is the Neuropro transdermal patch. My neurologist mentioned very interesting results with experimental trials using stem cells.
when I asked how I can be in these trials, and willing to sign any waiver, the response was that I am too old to be in the trials.

Are these trials or even access to trial drugs restricted due to age?????
