Does Using Ropinerole/Rasagiline Have As Bad Side Effects As Carbodopa/Levadopa?

Does Using Ropinerole/Rasagiline Have As Bad Side Effects As Carbodopa/Levadopa?

There seems to be neurological disagreement about this, and presumably the disagreement is addressed in the American Neurological Society's Guidelines for treatment, but you have to be a member to see them.

I’d appreciate any help or opinions on this.

Thank you!

I have really bad restless symptoms at night & my meds are wearing off after 3-31/2 hours instead of the 5 hours like i used to be able to go.Also my hands & especially my fingertips are always tingling or numb. I am just wondering what the next step will be, just increasing my meds or actually adding more meds. I see a movement disorder specialist but he is from out of town & only comes in our area 1 day a month & so it is extremely hard to get in to see him . i… read more

Wish I could get my husband to take his meds on a timely manner. Like the idea of taking every couple hours.

My husband does not want to take meds due to reaction to amantadine where legs swelled. What does sinemet do for you? Concerned that he might enjoy life more if not so tired physically and could walk at a "normal" speed
