My husband has a hard time getting comfortable in bed consequently he doesn't sleep well. Does anybody have a good suggestion for a mattress/bed? We're hoping a different matress might help.
Inexpensive solution for our family has been a wooden frame with cross slats and a memory foam mattress.
When I get into bed, I cannot move myself sideways because I sink into my pillowtop mattress. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I think firm is better because I can push against it with my elbows. I find moving in bed very difficult!
I am not aware of any special mattresses for Parkinson’s patients, but my memory foam mattress feels mighty good.
Boy ,wouldn't that be nice if they did but what little I know I don't think so. A nice bed would make a difference

My husband has PD …. Needs a very firm mattress ! He Wants to be able to push himself up with his hands and arms to get out of bed.
Our mattress is too soft and does not support his push up, lift motion.

I am in stage 1 to early 2 . I have a temper-pedic mattress with upper and lower raises. It is becoming too soft. I find myself moving like an inchworm in some beds to move. I have a partially torn rotator cuff to boot; so, need a firm shoulder neck support. What firm mattresses work well for others. I like very firm prior to symptoms onset. Thanks!
