Ask your Dr for cymbalta. It helps with depression and stiffness
You can try a slow release carbidopa this way you have meds in your system when you get up
.. not to lie in bed but not topush myself tohard.. she knows me well ha ha ... i do on occasion stay locked n my room.. jsut because i want to be as miserable as i can be without up setting others.. although i find my family is not very understanding msot of the time ...which ads to my depression
I too have stiffness upon rising in morning and after sitting. I take antidepressant for depression.
I take an antidepressant along with my other Parkinson's medications. My depression started before my symptoms for Parkinson's disease so my antidepressant is something I have taken for a long time. I have also had problems with back pain and stiffness before Parkinson's. My MD said for me to move to decrease my back pain. Moving also helps depression. Lying in bed all day is never going to benefit your depression or pain. Has your MD suggested that you stay in bed for some reason?
