I have found pain relief is helpful but most of all and it is very important to keep active and engaged with your community. Find out if there is an exercise group near you that understands PD or a Tai Chi or Qigong group. I personally have found exercise has greatly helped me with my pain and I believe it has slowed my PD symptoms. Hope this has helped. Good luck.

I quite agree that exercise is a must for people with Parkinsons. It is important to do as much as you can. Some days you will do more than others. Try to keep on the move. Any form of exercise is better than none.
I walk a lot moving as fast as I can. Good luck/

Exercise is mandatory for PDers. JV with PD stretches, power walks, swims, plays tennis. Yes, her back kills and she gets very tired. She's always upbeat, positive.
