I have heard that drinking coffee reduces your chances of getting PD but after you are diagnosed it does not help. That said I don't think it hurts to drink coffee.

i have found that if i limit my morning consumption to 2 cups i am fine any more than that and my tremors are worse! best to experiment and see what works for you...

I just read that drinking coffee may improve your motor symptoms but not day time sleepiness. So go ahead and have your coffee and see what happens.
