I am asking to share your creative projects for kinda' of a selfish reason. Not sure if this happens to others but this site helps me a great deal to not feel alone in this journey and it gives me a sense of purpose to think I help others.. but it also gets me anxious at times. I figured if I see more of what we are able to do DESPITE tremors, stiffness and cognitive issues, It would help to balance emotions.

To fill times when my hubby is so silent that's most all the time...I get pleasure making virtual greeting cards on FB when people on my friends list has A Birthday,Anniversary, retirement.......it fills a need for me and those I send the graphic cards via posting. My Hubby who is stage 4 with minor tremors but cognivity issue still can operate Our Amateur Radio set up aka Ham Radio. He also has developed those odd tasks he likes to clean up things around the house as long as he doesn't overdo I don't ask him to rest...but he will rake the yard even though he is hunched over....he is Amazing I tell him many who have had PD as long as him are not as mobile he walks at times with a cane..I don't ..Bottom Line...If you can stay active no matter how little you will do better through all the stages.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member: Yes, I feel much more creative since and just before I was diagnosed. I thought I didn't have a creative bone in my body but I started with making jewelry, making 3D cards, crocheting and learning watercolor as well as painting with acrylics. Sometimes I work on these things when I can't sleep. My tremors are on my left side and I am a rightie so I can still do things. I also have some anxiety when I am stressed about something or when my meds are adjusted. To me, that is the worst part of PD. One thing that I am proud of is that I learned to box as part of my physical therapy. I'll never be the "greatest" but I can do a little and it feels like an accomplishment to me. Hang in there, you are not alone.
