Okay...Went to Dentist yesterday...Asked about Dry mouth...He gave me some samples of XyliMelts..."Xylitol in long-lasting ADHERING DISCS to temporarily relieve dry mouth" They actually "stick" to your gum so they can be used at night...I tried one last night, placement a little tricky around my night teeth guard, but I was happy with the results...This is an "all natural" product and the info sheet states they are available at CVS (Item #987389) and RiteAid (Item #359432)...I will certainly continue to use them and keep you posted...So far, so good...Has anyone else tried these???

I have the perfect suggestion I also have dry mouth extremely bad sometimes you get a little taste of metal don't know where that comes from but it's nasty out there most of the medicines we take can cause dry mouth so what I have done and every once in a while I'll go to the dollar store and get off 4 bags of different kinds of hard candy Lemon Cherry butterscotch in Carmel seems to work best so that's how I take care of dry mouth issues and it taste pretty good too LOL

I have many meds but don't know which exact one causes my dry mouth. I've found Biotene mouthwash and/or lozenges work well. The downside is the price. Most of the time to expensive for me.

I had dry mouth from meds that I was taking for constipation. I was biting my cheeks and lips. My dentist suggested chewing sugarless gum; worked like a charm and inexpensive, too.
