Listen you have to stay positive. You are having some set backs but you can't let all these extra thing your using to get through your day cloud your inner strength. If you need those things to get around and do the things you need to do, to get them done. then so be it. But look at it this way you're getting through your day. So the next time you're in the kitchen and your sitting and cutting with your tools , look at it like this , you're in the kitchen making a meal for yourself or family" you are , and can do it "remember that. And all those other tools that you have in your house stop looking at them as handicapped equipment. If you look at it more positive you will get more strength. Big hug to you.

I haven't done too much. I had the bathroom renovated to install a larger shower stall when we bought the town house , so I can get in with him if I need to which included a both way swinging glass door and removed the hobs. The grab rails on the sides and in the toilets, hand held hose and a shower stool. He has a chairlift to get him upstairs. I removed all the rugs and mats. He has a small step stool on a non slip mat to help him get onto the bed.
