it's levodopa that can be delivered to the distal airways and absorbed the lung-blood barrier, so there's no competition for the receptors in the small bowel, which is the reason that protein in meals makes it seem as though the pills are working
I find the Rytary doesn't work well when i've eaten a meal with protein especially cheese [no more lasagna] that's whyi'm anxious to try an inhaler and bypass the intestinal absorption all together,

Hi Vickie. No I don't have a pump but I am seriously thinking about it. I've had a
(Spinal cord stimulator ) it worked for about 6mo. Then started to malfunctions
So it had to be removed. After that I went on fentanyl patches with some break thru meds. After all that ended up stage 3b kidney disease...So I don't have to many
choices. What eles has you Husband tried ? Best of luck to him.
It's not out on the market yet. Still in a clinical trial.

What type of medication do they have for us (PD patients) that is in an inhaler? I am only familiar with respiratory medication
Coming big an inhaler or Stadol for migraine. Could you or someone late me know . Thank you MICHELLE
