A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Husband newly diagnosed...put on Sinemet a month ago. First 3 weeks great response...now extremely nauseous. What combats nausea? Anti nausea drugs? MOre Carbidopa?

There's a drug called domperidone that can help to deal with the nausea your husband's experiencing.

I get nausea when I dont eat anything. Maybe if he will eat a cracker or anything with little protein in it, because protein affects the absorption of sinamet, that would help.

Ask doctor for Rytary. 4 hours of nausea per day regained back for usefulness. Love this med

I take Domperidone 10mg as required for the nausea associated with Lev/Carb. This seems to help.
