I read a comment somewhere that placing the Neuro patch closer to head, e.g. shoulders, increased drowsiness.

I find they come off my shoulder area quickly and my usual location is top front of the legs as directed and sides of abdomen. I cant reach my back so that's out. What dosage is everyone on and how many years? Year number 5 for me and at the max of 8mgs.

well, I went off Neupro last year when it caused extreme insomnia/disturbed sleep; now I also replaced Azilect with Xadago which I find more helpful.
i'm taking Carbidopa Levadopa 25/100 four times a day for a total of 5.5 pills.

I tried the patch a few years ago before starting pills and it didn't matter where I placed it. They helped a little but gave me red blotches and blisters so I stopped.

I have been on Neupro patches for over two years - they should be applied on legs arms back and chest. Nowhere near your head.

Interesting. Insomnia is a real issue for me plus addictive behavior (impulsive) tied to meds
