I have been newly diagnosed with PD. Doctor put me on mirtazapine and it was not good for me. I saw the wallpaper and chairs moving slowly towards me. It had a psychodylic affect for me. Beware!!! 76 year lady in Orange County

My husband goes to a Neurologist who is a movement disorder specialist. He AND his DNP are wonderful. Changed his meds and he's a new man. One new med is Mirtazapine. It is for depression, anxiety and he sleeps WELL all night. Take it at bedtime. It's a wonder drug for him and me!!! He does exercise 3-5 days a week.

I used to have one. He was good, there were many I saw before him that I would not recommend. Most of them were googling the answers and lying about being a doctor but back then I didn't think that was possible. I only saw it in movies, like catch me if you can where Leonardo DiCaprio cons everyone and even passes for a doctor and gets away with it.
