My husband was diagnosed with essential tremors 3 yrs before being diagnosed with PD. He had a lot more symptoms by then but we hadn`t realised it was due to PD. My husband didn`t tell the Dr as he thought they were separate issues! When they are all put together I can see now they were part of the PD!

It took many different doctor visits before my husband was diagnosed and we had to travel hours from home to get answers from movement disorder specialists that could provide them. Please consider traveling as far as necessary it was so worth it for us!

I understand they’re treating essential tremor with high-dose vitamin B1 therapy. There is a lot of information on the Internet.
