No ! Start taking Sinemet 25 / 100 mg as soon as possible to stabilize PD..... Hundreds of new research shows how it does not matter how long you take Sinemet, and that the significant improvement in Quality of Life is so beneficial ! Old studies were flawed and created a myth that Sinemet should only be used as last resort. Find a younger Neurologist / Movement Disorder Specialist that is current with Parkinson drugs! I started out with 12 tabs a day with significant improvement in my Stage 3 PD diagnosis.... Been taking for past 6 yrs with excellent outcome.... Took 10 years of searching to find what was wrong with my body - overwhelming muscle fatigue, freezing up, tremors and so much more... Alan

Donelmore, I stopped leva/dip after two months. I was so nauseaous and even threw up. I was given ornastaten for nausea but the side effect was nonstop constipation

I stopped everything.

I’m 71 and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in around 2015. After brain scan, dat scan, eeg, observation of motor skills and memory tests.. I was diagnosed.

My onset has been so minimal with lack of balance, some falling, depression, mild tremors, yes.. constipation and sleep disorder. I said to my neurologist, “maybe I don’t have Parkinsons”. He said Johns Hopkins had a biopsy test, now, that would confirm or deny the existence of the disease. I had it done and it came back 99% Parkinsons.

If anyone wants that kind of test, you can have your neurologist do the test and mail it to Johns Hopkins. It took several weeks to get results. It does rule out other disease or disorders… which I had never heard of

Best luck to all, hope this helped someone
