Looking for literature, personal experience, doctors and how you deal with it.
I've had fibromyalgia around 30 years and diagnosed with PD 5 years ago.
Thanks for any help.

I also have both. I was diagnosed with fibromylasia in 1990 and PD last year. I cannot remember a day without pain.

The Cymbalta (Duloxitine) is beginning to work. Today is not a good day. I am tired with some arm and hand pain but not to the degree it could be. Also, I am very tired. I think that’s just pd. Duloxitine doesn’t affect me that way. I’ve had some excellent days lately. Even 3 in a row.

The doctor is changing me from Celexa (citalepram) to Cymbalta which is also an anti depressant. It works differently though. It also blocks pain signals from the nerves to the brain. I just started taking it. Changing over from celexa is a slow process. I’ll let you know if it helps.

I have taken Carbidopa-levidopa, aka sinemet, since I was diagnosed in 2012. The doctor added a little bit of Azilect and I take klonopin regularly as a part of my cocktail for bipolar 1. For me, it
works.
