Pattycakes2 - I've just started watching Grantchester. It is season 5 on PBS here, but I just got the DVD of season 1 at the library. I love Call the Midwife as well.

For US shows, MASH is probably my favorite comedy, mostly because I've seen each episode so many times and they are mostly still enjoyable. Not sure about dramas. I've watched a lot of series from start to end over the years and enjoyed them a lot while I was watching them, but then when they were over I didn't really miss them that much.
