At some point your relatives may want to settle you into a nursing home. Here are some of my ideas based on my late 2nd husband's, his friend's and my current husband's sister's experiences. Can you think of more ideas

Yes there is. It just takes the time to dig deep and investigate which facilities are best. I remember having g to keep in mind that the facility was for my mother not for me. I had to keep her needs in mind and not be impressed by how perfect it would be for me.

Lmg2400 I am happy that you found a good place for your husband. My mother in law lived with us for years and then needed more care than we could provide. She ,too, was in an excellent facility and got very involved in as much as possible. I know there is good care out there.

I have been in a nursing home for rehab it depends on the nursing home not all of them turn out to be as wonderful as you are making it out to be you have to research & find out about restrictions from covid you definitely need an advocate that is on your side
