It depends on which meds you are taking. With carbidopa-levodopa, Jim's neurologist said alcohol was okay. He doesn't drink much, but an occasional beer with pizza or a hamburger seems to be fine. When he was trying out some other medications, at least one said not to drink any alcohol. So check with your doctor to see if there are any bad interactions with your medications.

I do not have medical answer, but I drink a beer every once in awhile. Like 4 a month. Do not notice any problems. I take Carbidopa/Levodopa. 8 tablets a day. I am anxious to see the answer to this as welll.
