My husband deals with leg cramps that often disturb his sleep, as well as walking during the day. Anyone else have this problem and suggested solutions?

It’s called Dystonia. Parkinson’s causes your muscles to contract and pull you out of shape normally they pull down and curl under. These cramps can be very painful. Your neurologist can prescribe you muscle relaxants.

I understand. My husband has to watch getting up quickly to halt the cramp and then walks around to settle the leg. Doesn’t make for a good nights sleep!
