Hi Monique. Chris uses a wheelchair sometimes. I have never experienced any problem with Dr's. I find, if anything, they have been very good with Chris. Just last week at his orthopedic appointment I wheeled him into the office and the Dr was very accommodating. When we were leaving, the man that changed Chris's cast insisted he wheel Chris to the car for me. It quite a hall. I told him I'd be fine. He insisted. He helped me get Chris in the car and put the wheelchair in the back for me. I was really happy about that. His travel wheelchair, that I keep in the van, is very heavy. I had a heck of a time getting it out. I'm afraid of hurting my back. I think next visit, I will schedule the Connecticut transit van that picks us up at our door. This way he can use his electric wheelchair. Have a great Sunday everyone.

When I fell and broke my leg I was in a wheelchair and I was always treated very well and good people help one another

Sorry to hear you are having issues. My husband uses wheel chair. Never had a problem at any Doctor's office. On contrary the staff always tries to help me with the doors as I try to wheel him in or out.

Thanks to PD I e been in a power chair for 15 months. Never had any problems with accessibility other than making a reservation for supper, asking if the restaurant was ADA compliant, told yes..
The only entrance had three steps from the sidewalk……
