Taking a shower is so draining for me. We get my shower right after I eat breakfast, and then I’m done for the day. I usually end up sleeping most of that day. My husband helps me shower, so we have to plan it so he can devote the whole day to me. I’m even too drained to get up and eat. He brings my meals in to me. If we wait any longer in the day, I’m not able to shower due to other health issues

I had to switch my shower to the morning after I’ve taken my first round of pills otherwise it just wasn’t gonna happen. I couldn’t lift my arms to wash my hair, and standing that long was impossible. Now I wait for the pills to kick in and it’s much easier.

I’m able to shower by myself. Today, I got 3/4 done and was suddenly so fatigued and in pain I had to sit on the edge of the tub, wondering how I was going to finish. After a bit was able to complete. Had to immediately sit on toilet to dry off, then lay down for awhile. Cancelled plans with sister and have been crashing all afternoon. So much for plans. Still am completely exhausted and hurting. Luckily, this doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to varying degrees to make it a dreaded activity.
