This is sometimes thought to be a stroke because you aree unable to say what it is you want to say, or you are unable to spell what you want to say. It is very difficult.

My husband has it due to MSA & Parkinsonism, plus my Mother has it due to stroke. Conversations can get comical and frustrating at times. Don't lose your sense of humor

I actually had not even heard of Aphasia until now but have experienced my words being all jumbled up and can’t get out what I’m talking about. All three of my children have heard me trying to talk and just can’t get my words to work for me. Thanks now I can understand what is going on.

Tag, my sisters are all still living (I am the oldest) but I don’t think I’ll ever get irritated with them again for doing that; you remind me we have on so long on earth together. That being said, I live alone and talk to myself, answering my own questions. Did you have trouble finishing, or was it their habit?
