My dad has had problems with his mouth for over a year now. He always thinks he has something in there. For example right now he said it feels like there are 3 fingers stuck in his throat. He knows that they are delusions but these are aggravating him. He doesn't eat, sleeps only a few hours and he is even more depressed

You’re father should be someplace where they can protect him from himself while they diagnose this issue, I’ve never heard of this, but it does sound like something Parkinson’s could create.

Wow that is scary! I've heard that if you go to speech therapy, the therapist can show the caregiver and PD person a lot of techniques to deal with swallowing issues and uncomfortable throat issues. Or is it primarily a delusion. Holding you close at HEART.
