MPT is a complicated website. If you don't spell a person's name exactly right, it may not be able to find them or send a message to them. Here are 4 ways to find what you are looking for:
- In order for that person to know at all that you are writing to them, you must put an @ symbol in front of their name. So when I type @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member she will get a notification of this message I'm typing, and MPT can bring it up for her. She just has to click or touch the golden bell on the upper right of her screen, to the left of her picture. But if you type Anne Kristen, or Anne Kristine, she will not be able to know you are trying to reach her. I want to be sure to include @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member
- On the first screen that comes up when you go to MPT, there is an hourglass icon on the upper right, 3 icons to the left of your picture. Touch or click it, and type AnneKristine (No misspelling!), then click or touch the hourglass & MPT will bring up all her posts
- Another way is when you meet someone you want to keep writing to, be sure to click ADD TO TEAM on the bottom right of their picture. Then to find them, you click or touch the square with 3 gray bars on the upper right of your screen, then My Profile, my team, and you will find her picture there. Click or touch it to go to her home page and you can type a message to her there.
- Go to AnneKristine's home page & ask her if she can resend it to you. https://www.myparkinsonsteam.com/users/62f334aa...
