I recently had total shoulder
replacements in both shoulders. One was done in may 2022 and the other on in Sept 2022. I did not have any problems with the anesthesia. What I did find difficult was not being able to exercise for two weeks afterwards which caused my tremors to get worst and overall I got very stiff due to inactivity. Also keep your PD meds on you as the hospital staff did not give meds on time and one nurse tried to double up my dose of carb,/levo since I did not receive my morning dose.
I got thru all the physical therapy well and my shoulders feel great! No more pain and I am more active which is good for PD. Good luck on your surgery.
