A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I prove to him that no extra pills have been given but he gets angry and doesn’t believe me. He says I left some pills around but I didn’t.Does anyone have any advice. It’s so stressful. I even count pills in front of him.
Thank you

PD patients have this type of issue. I have it with my husband especially after his last bout in the hospital and they messed up hospital drugs so bad. I guess my being his care pro idea and gi ING him his medication daily for the past 7 years with PD and 20+ years for Marfan syndrome I don't know about right dosing. Any how. There was 3 weeks of delusional haha oops and I had to fix it all.

Parkinson’s causes delusions. PWP are libel to believe all kinds of things are being done to them. It’s the disease, not you.

Here’s an article that explains the various psychosis’s that accompany this disease, and various treatments:

That is hard to deal with! I wonder if there is a way to film yourselves each day showing the date counting the pills and whenever you are accused, put on the video and go to the bathroom and just return in a few minutes and just go about your business? I guess it depends on how agitated he is about it.
