On the advice of my neurologist I’ve been taking over the counter FiberWell gummies, 2 a day, and my constipation is much less of a problem. I get a huge jar at Costco and it lasts a long time. You can find smaller jars at most drug stores.

My husband has a very difficult time with constipation due to his PD medications. He started eating a high fiber diet, and added flaxseed to his vitamin regime. He also went on a reduced sodium diet, and drinks plenty of water.

Your constipation is typically due to your medication. Ask your Neurologist this question. The advice given by others on this site may not work for you, therefore ask your doctor.
