This a major concern for us!!! Probably at least dozen recent conversations on the Q&A column on this app if you want a ton of advice!! Anyways, hydration and movement are key ... mineral help with magnesium and herbal help with senna and Aloe Vera ... don't overload on fiber that can make it worse, Miralax is a good to for many (research or talk with general physician for dose, I double recommendation when it's serious, like a colonoscopy prep, lol), and of course prune juice works for many ... heating pad on tummy with targeted tummy massage, many examples on YouTube!!! As far as back and forth with diarrhea, you may need to address gut health, like infections or parasites .... I did the oregano oil with black seed oil things for couple months and that really helped balance the issues ... parasites can be a real thing and no probiotics, prebiotics or enzymes can rid them but the oregano oil with black seed oil are a gentle natural antibiotics combo that worked for me ...
Well that's what I can think of now, good luck (((HUGS)))
Hi Bonnie, I had similar issues when I was first diagnosed. I ended up with doing all the listed solutions (fiber, exercise, water, timing of meds, etc) plus taking Miralax daily. It's frustrating but eventually works itself out. Good luck!
