David29: It is heartbreaking and cruel when a partner breaks the marriage vows and leaves someone they promised to always be with. It's such a betrayal. Especially when one's health is at i🥰ssue. It makes the act selfish beyond words. Another very nice young man on this site who was recently diagnosed with PD had his wife leave him. He was advised by others to put his thoughts and efforts into revitalizing himself and learn to improve his life by committing himself to finding his best ways to deal with PD and find the route to life's opportunities and enjoyment of it. I remember reading some of your posts and you seem to have some success in handling PD. You exercise radically and I believe you said you are near your sons. Focus on your blessings and don't lose your wonderful sense of humor that we all enjoy and would love to hear more of.🥰

Dear Deb, Please don't be sorry...my neurologist has felt sorry for Tony since he gave us the diagnosis...I tend to be dramatic and some of our experiences have left us and my doctor in hysterics...what else could he say? After 25 years he greets me with, "Your diagnosis has not changed, you have PD not VD." A story I related a month(s) ago...Anne Kristine🙂

I feel bad for both if you. My husband is my rock. Hopefully, you have other ones in your family or friends you can call on for help when needed.
