Ok, for those who experience them, would you say that your hallucinations are caused by your level/dosage of medication you are taking or by the length of time you've had PD or by a little of both? Do you automatically begin to hallucinate
I am frightened by the thought of hallucinating and I asked my doctor about it and she assured me it wasn't anything I'd would be frightened of, like I would be seeing a cat that I knew wasn't there. But I've read more disturbing things on this site and it⦠read more
Nice post by Andrew
What is will probably happen is just that you will not get any of these side effects - you sound from your posts that you are a lovely caring person with some adored cats to keep you sane and healthy physically and mentally- have a hug from me.

My husband has hallucinations, he thinks people are in our home, his first ones were in April of 2022, I was in AZ with our daughter when he called at 4:00 am and said people were in our family room sitting in the recliners, he was dealing with water in our laundry room in the downstairs, wasnāt sleeping or eating. Thatās the first time, I had to fly home early, it was very scary for both of us . They started again in December, and they continue just about every day !!! š¢not sure what made them start again!!!
My hallucinations have been going on before parkinsonās. Not sure why. Nothing scary. I can usually identify them. Example. I have a wreath in my bathroom. I used to think it was a person head. I got up and walked toward it and saw what it was. These are never scary. Sometimes I see something in my mirrored closet door. If I blink a few times reality comes back. Canāt explain. Usually it is someone I may have encountered over a previous week.
