Dallas, TX

Does anyone have horrible shoulder pain that goes down into bicep and forearms? It is muscle spasms as well, and it is fucking uncomfortable. It has just started w/i this week, and it’s relentless. I cannot sleep. Very very frustrating.

Very much so. The shoulders and arms are pretty bad but the knees just as bad. Try gabapentin. Actually for me ibuprofen is by far the best but I can't take it. I am so sorry for your pain.

I have found that my tendency to sleep on my side can cause issues with my shoulder and arm if they are in an uncomfortable position when I (finally) get to sleep. It takes me a long time to find a comfortable sleeping position due to the ever present aches and pains and stiffness resulting from PD. I have taken to spooning with a pillow to alleviate some of the discomfort. Try stretching before bedtime as well. Good luck.

Shoulders and arms and knees are my worst. I broke my elbow and wrist and the shoulder pain can be excruciating but it is on the other side too. Go figure
