I have severe dyskenesia but cannot afford to have the DBS operation.
My doctor has reduced my medication slightly to see if that can help?
Has anyone been successful in reducing the dyskenesia without surgery
As I am starting to trip on myself when it is severe.

I take smaller dose of carb-levodopa more frequent and add amantadine and ropinirole has helped a lot

Yes the doctor reduced madapor 200/50 x 6 a day to 1 x stalevo 200/50 + 4 x 175/50 + incerased Symmetrel 100 from 1 a day to 3 a day this has helped a little bit but I only started this reduction a month ago I should give it more time

Yes Amantadine is supposed to help dyskinesia.
