Seeking financial assistance to purchase equipment (walking, showering, toilet, etc.). Also seeking resources to obtain physical therapy in hopes to improve mobility/balance.
Check with your local Agency on Aging to see what resources are available where you live. If you live in the US and are eligible, Medicaid may pay for some things.
In the UK there's an "enablement" team that are part of local govt. It's more about helping you be active though...so they'll tell/remind you to wash the dishes...but won't wash them for you. If you want actual help, you have to pay.
Thanks to all who provided recommendations/assistance - I greatly appreciate your feedback!
If you're a Medicare age, they will pay with a doctors order for a lot of the aids, like shower chair, raised toilet, etc. that one needs to have with PD. Good luck.
This is a link for the GA APDA. They havea program and will know every other program available you.
