Curled Toes
Has anyone been able to reverse curled toes caused by PD or found a way to deal with it?
Botox has saved me. The pain and discomfort caused me by the curling toes was almost unbearable. I have the shots on the bottom of my foot and on my shin. Every couple of months does the trick. Hope it keeps doing the trick for a long time. Also too much spit drool I first tried candies that didn't work now I'm getting eye drops to put on my tongue that sounds funny I drops on my tongue but it's working. But it's hit or miss so I'm going to try also shots in your jaw of the Botox and hopefully it'll work like it works on my feet. So if anybody's having those problems the Botox works well.. it's so hard going through this by myself My husband passed 5 months before I was diagnosed with something was wrong I knew that I had Atkinson's. It just took a long time to make everybody else see what I was seeing. I had almost every symptom. So here we are I hope everyone had a wonderful day and have a good night sleep and I wonderful day tomorrow. Sorry I think I went on and on...
Thank you so much! Glad this worked for you and it is all behind you!
Hi Joanne35, the surgery was not painful at all, just very tensing watching the dr work on your brain. Was in the hospital over night, really no recovery. It was worth getting rid of those curled toes as they were painful and had to crawl on the floor a lot and wear sneakers to bed at night. Bean
I had the dbs surgery and that took away the curled toes completely. Bean
Thank you so much! So sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Prayers.
