I’ve been taking lions mane for about 3 months. I take the form that’s gone through dual extractions to help the potency and remove the chitin from the mushroom. When I first started using it I got powder that didn’t have the chitin removed ( I discovered later) and got terrible cramps, although I’ve had stomach problems for awhile before that. That put me off it for about 6 months. After reading up it some more I learned about the proper extraction process and have been using a dual extracted form in my morning decaf tea without any stomach issues. I still have foggy days but my focus has been better for the most part. I can’t say how much it’s helped because there are other factors that contribute to our brain fog, but I’ll keep using it because it’s been proven to help over time with focus. As long as I’m not too fatigued my concentration is better than it was. Took about two weeks to notice a difference in my ability to concentrate. I play crossword, and other puzzles to keep my mind active and some days I fly through them, even surprising myself. I like to think it’s the lions mane helping but I don’t really know at this stage. My restless leg syndrome has almost completely stopped, but I’m not aware whether it helps with that, and haven’t read where it might help. I don’t think that’s a strong point in it’s curative effects.
Try lions mane mushroom, they sell it in a powder form on amazon.
Read about it first.
I tried one medication with no change. In fact, I wasn't even aware that I had restless legs. My doctor commented on it. Lao, my new puppy is the only one disturbed. As much as he loves sleeping in bed with us, I am pretty sure he will get used to me. Love and Blessings, JudyTx 🌹🙏🏻🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
