I find it very difficult to get back up from a knelling position. Have any of you experienced it? How did you resolve it and where did you purchase it from? Linda237
You have to build up leg strength. I go spinning 3 days a week and box 2 days. I agree with the roll over and work your way up.
I had difficulty with getting up off the ground or from kneeling. BIG therapy has help me with this. They reviewed my problem and discovered it was mostly from one leg. Now when on the ground or kneeling, I lay down and roll over on my belly. Then I create a tripod with my two arms and the stronger leg. As I am rising I bring the weak leg in and slowly spread my weight on all four and then stand up.
Harder to describe than I thought, Good Luck
I've been on the floor 3 days now someone should come over soon

Hi I find it really difficult yo get back up if I kneel on the floor, I avoid kneeling at all now, but I didn't think this was anything to do with Parkinsons, I thought it was just old age. I am 83 now.
