This happens pretty much each time he eats or drinks anything. Is there anything I can do to minimize that symptom?

Dear girl, my sweet husband died on 15 November in 2024, and I miss him every day. His Parkinson’s was only critical for about a week and a half, and I had help with Hospice.. wishing you and yours well . Joan

He says it is his sinus draining. I have suggested some things for him to try, sinus rinse, etc. But he is not to receptive about them. Que Cera Cera. I still love him more each day, and I'm sure there's things I do that irritate him just as much. Hope your situation can improve, take care of each other!

Linda, Does Jim need thickening of all liquids as my husband does? Currently he’s using “Simply Thick” to avoid aspirating fluids into his lungs, and I wonder if that might be the cause of the goop. Joan

Well, maybe you’d feel better if you knew that I am the one who has to do the de-goopifying! :-) Does he need thickener in his fluids? I’m thinking that may be the cause of the problem. Joan.
