gradually gets better but I feel so awful when it occurs, I don’t want to go
To bed at night.I’ve tried eating before going to bed. Eating an hour before meds, i disturb
My husband also. He has his own health issues.
No, I am no longer working. I'd be too unreliable for any employer, which is worse than being a poor worker. They can cope with someone who regularly only works a day a week as they can plan accordingly. It's much harder to work around someone who can work a full week one week, but then calls in to say they can't make it the next.
My husband's doctor suggested he take pills later in the evening so he still has some carbidopa in his system when he wakes up. Then he takes his morning pills first thing. I think it helps.
Morning is always slow going for me as it takes me much longer to get ready to start my day and I often fall back to sleep after my first meds which do tend to make me drowsy. I figure sleep is sleep whether it’s from 7am to 9:30 or 12am to 3! That’s why I make all appointments for mid to late afternoon whenever I can.

Docs tried to extend my final night dose of l-dopa with opicapone. Awful. Wide awake insomnia, dystonia in foot. Urine infection after just ONE tablet. Kept it up for six nights...no more. I seem to tolerate l-dopa well, but none of the "support" meds like Ropinirole etc... 😭
Good advice. Thank you.
