I am in agony with distonia in my left foot and freezing of my mouth musles since switching from Sinemet 25 mg 5 times a day to Rytary 48 ER 3 times a day.
I was on Rytary 48 ER 3 times a day before swtching to Sinemet 25 mg 5 times a day due to cost but was OK except for moderate cramping in left foot.
Sinemet stopped working now Rytary is making me sick
What can i do?

Finding the exact dosage is a constant battle. I adjust mine, not my Neurologist. He's not with me, bur a half hour every now and then.
I'm with me all the time. I have a basic dosage level and adjust up or down by a pill as needed, keep a record, and show it to my Neurologist at my appointment. He then adjust my prescription to make sure I have what I need when I need it.
I tend to avoid taking extra if at all possible, but have taken two to four extra pills on a stressful day. I have always tolerated the medication well.

Have you considered Doudopa pump?
